Scrappys House
Hi everyone
Im here at Scrappys house, shes a Support Staff member here at Wood Haven. She runs the place along with Michele our Director. Her house is cool.
So camp so far.... pre-camp has nearly finished, the children arrive in 2 days! I have been teaching riding lessons to the councilors at camp in preparation for the children. Michele says Im a natural :-D As the Americans say " I wing it".
We have been having a lot of cook-outs lately, some have been great, the foods been really yummy, but the other day we had a breakfast cook-out wish wasnt so good. The bacon was burnt, the french toash was soggy and the muffins werent cooked. Oh and did I mention... it was raining!!!!
When we have nights/days off Michele has taken all us international staff out of camp for the day. Yesterday we went to a Mexican Resturant, to a shopping outlet and then an Ice Cream bar. A few days ago she took us all to a local bowling centre. We stay at camp all week so when we leave its like we are going back into the real world again, its funny.
Im certainly used to camp now, getting up in the morning isnt so bad any more, having cold showers and using non flushing toilets is the norm now.
We have a lot of camp fires in the evenings, we all sing songs and make snacks over the fire. The other night we went to the top of the camp site called BirdSong, as the fire was ending it started to Lighteing, it looked seriel through the trees, the sky lighting up. We rushed back to the Pavalian which is a lareg open sided barn, where we continued singing songs and having drinks. Thats when it started chucking it down with rain around us. The thunder, lightening and wind was so loud.
Im having such a good time here at camp now.

hey babe, I jsut read your blog, hope ure keeping up to date with mine sounds fun, i got a tan already and have started to pick up accents like a bit of americaaaaan and austwralian!
got a couple of comments today about how "stacked" i am lol people thaught i was on steriods haha.
Sorry to hear its raining, i cant wait to hear from you, erm.. i sent a letter off today, mobile is dead and no phones near by so its letters im afraid and everynow and then were off to hanover for internet use. kids come this thursday, sorry i cant tell much off to the bar in a mo called murpheys to watch the game, england won today 1:0

Hey dude, just come back from the funeral yesterday.
Wasnt too bad, was quick, nearly cried but...dint wanna set everyone else off. Was wierd cos its the 1st funeral i've been to really.

cant figure out what ya number actually is cos it has + before the number so dont know what to add, plus low signal round there so might not be connected to ya easily
Me n mum were wondering, hoew come dad gets all the info, calls and texts? we get letters but dad keeps braggin that he's been texting ya, such a dick (shoot)
