Sun, Sweat and Smores

Since my last blog Iv been in two other programmes. 2 Extreme with Garp again and Ruby, and Club WoodHaven with Busta and Tex. I had such a great with in 2 Extreme, we got to go out of camp to a rock climbing centre, we got to camp outside of camp, we made Chicken-Butt-Bucket for our cook-out and played Frizbee golf. That week so great because we only had 5 kids and I got to know all of them really well.
The second week was fun but I felt like there were either too many kids (16) or I just didnt get given the chance to interact with them unlike other weeks. Never the less we still did cool things like play Wink which is a wresting game, make lipgloss, do facials and backmassages.
The past two weeks working down at the barn has been extremly hot. It reached 38 degrees C a few days ago. We were thinking about closing the barn because it was just too hot to ride. I was in the ring for 3 hours a day last week because Beano (one of the other intructors) is out of camp and I had to cover for her. It wasnt that bad, I enjoy taking riding lessons, much more than stable lessons. When I have a stable lessons, where we teach the kids about parts of a horse and tack etc etc the Aids (like my assistants) help out a great deal. During my time off I ALWAYS go to the pool hehehe. I jump in with my clothes on (vest top and shorts) swim around and play games for about half an hour then go back to the barn wet hehehe. Its fine because you dry within an hour or so.

This weekend Im at Mohawks house. She is a Barn Aid who I work with sometimes. EJ's here too. She comes from England Bedfordshire.

Theres only 1 weeks left of camp *sob sob sob* I really do not want it to end. Ive been having so much fun, I love working here its great, the experience and the opportunities you get are brilliant. Not to mention all my new friends they are amazing. Ive become really close with a few and its going to be SOOOO hard to say goodbye! I hate thinking about it. I might never see them again, (I hope I will though) Some live in America, some England, some Scotland.

After camp my plan so far is to go touring with Ruby, Cert, Splat and Veteaux. We are thinking of using a camp van (like a people carrier) and go to Phillidelphia, then on to New Jersey where Ruby lives then continue to NY where most of us have to be because were going on Trek America tours afterwards. This is where I would meet Martin.

The other day I finally got hold of him. I called him and was able to speak to him after 7 weeks with only letters as our means of communication. I was so releaved! Hes having a unforgettable time just like I am. We miss each other lots but cant because to meet up for our Trek America. We have decided to return to the UK on the 10th SEPTEMBER. That means I'll be spending my bday in Miami or NY so cool so cool.
